This creamy shrimp
fettuccine alfredo is the real deal! Get ready to burn some calories tomorrow
because this pasta is rich and full of heavy cream and butter and is DELICIOUS!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of water to a boil while
adding salt and 1 tsp olive oil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or
until al dente, drain pasta and return to pot.
In a large skillet, saute garlic in the butter
then add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes . Pour in heavy whipping cream and
stir. Slowly add the parmesan cheese and stir constantly. Add parsley,
tomatoes, salt and pepper. Stir frequently, do not boil. Once sauce thickens,
add to pot of noodles, stir and serve warm.
